The journey south was definitely pleasant as there were not much traffic. Most of the traffic seems to be heading north evident by the queue of cars in the opposite direction. Lucky me!!
"Hello auntie! how's the prospect for the year of the tiger?" I asked the tauke of the parts shop the other day.
"Aiyahh don't think about it lah then everything will be ok.." was her reply. I wonder what that means. Whether the year looks bleak or too good to be true...
We had some good homemade steamboat for the annual dinner. The chinese will eat in the evening of new year's eve. Look at the dishes...wow!!
What about some new year slippers eh....
Are you sure you know how to eat this?
The journey back to KL was uneventful. I think I managed to sleep a few minutes on the wheel..(just kidding!!)
We stopped by a local place near our home for some breathtaking view.
Disini berakhirnya zaman bujang sahabat baikku Mr SAAS. Majlis telah berlangsung di Parit, Perak..No,no no bukan parit tempat laluan air tu tetapi Parit sebuah daerah di Perak Darul Ridzuan.
Kalau kita dari Selangor/KL boleh melalui lebuhraya bertol PLUS atau melalui lebuhraya tanpa tol a.k.a jalan kampung(a.k.a ni shortform untuk "also known as" untuk para pembaca yang belum tahu).
Haa ni pun dia pengantin...amacam segak tak? Sejoli?
kalau pandu kereta kena fokusla..
Aku pun layan la 2-3 lap swimming pool tu. Dah lama tak swim mengah jugak pakcik..hehehe..
Presenting...
Here she is our Auni...looking sweet in her pink baju kurung. She is the most demanding of the trio and very persistent in her requirements. Her buddy fighting mate would be Mr Aiman and Ms Aleya...
We had stopped by somewhere in Kota Tinggi during our adventure there the past weekend. We managed to stopped by Kota Tinggi waterfalls. My last visit was most probably during my time as an active sea scout member in JB. I vividly remember the bus ride to the water falls and all the diving, swimming and lepakking there.
Nowadays, the waterfall has been upgraded into a water park. Entrance fees is RM10 for adults and RM5 for child but we were given discounts the other day and paid RM7.50 for adults where as children were free. Mahal woo...
The waterfall was basically the same but with additional slides here and there just to realign with the water park theme. My verdict: Expansive and not worth it.
